Thursday and Friday (and maybe into Monday if necessary), we have been working on the second half of Chapter 3, which is all about the cycling of matter through the biosphere. This includes the Water Cycle, Nitrogen Cycle, Phosphorus Cycle, and the Carbon Cycle.

Weekend homework:
Read the Nitrogen Cycle article and highlight key points
Read textbook pages 74-80, and answer questions 1-4 on page 80
Upcoming Quiz: We will be having our 3rd Notebook Quiz (NBQ3) on Tuesday Oct 7. It will cover all of Chapter 3. Make sure your readings and notes and logbook are all up to date by then!
Don't forget that your first Article Analysis assignment on an article of YOUR CHOICE is due next Friday, October 10 through Google Classroom. You need to select and photocopy a biology-related article from 2005 or more recent, and fill out the pre-reading chart for it, and then answer the analysis questions. See the instructions here.
