We have been working on Action Projects for the last 3 weeks or so, and students have written letters, made posters, and made websites or other online components to address an issue they care about.
Now we are starting Macbeth. We have been looking at some historical context, information about Shakespeare's life, and some basics of the structure of a play.
We also watched (on thursday for Per 5, and Monday for Per 2) the following video summary of Macbeth, to introduce the play. Students were required to write down "5 things" - questions, things that were surprising or that they wanted to know more about, or just notes, from the video. Students who were away can view the video below and complete those "5 things".
